Privacy Policy

Perris Residents Directory is a small reference site about Riverside County records and local collections. This policy explains the limited information that may pass through the site, how ordinary hosting data is handled, and where California privacy rights stop because a county, city, court, or archive controls the underlying public record.

Data You Send Directly

Information typed into a search form, such as a name, phone number, or address, is sent to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Perris Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those searches on its own servers. If you send a message, the contact mailbox receives the information included in that message and uses it to respond.

Ordinary Automatic Data

Hosting services may record an IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps in routine server logs. Those records help diagnose faults and measure broad page use. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement where the hosting and advertising arrangements allow them.

How We Use It

The limited information described above is used to run the reference, answer messages, fix technical problems, understand overall traffic, and improve the pages. The site does not sell a visitor list or build an individual profile from ordinary browsing.

Links Beyond Perris Directory

Pages link to Riverside County portals, California services, libraries, archives, courts, and third-party search tools. Each outside service has its own privacy rules. Information submitted to a county or state form is handled by that custodian, not by Perris Residents Directory. Sponsored search results are supplied by a third party with its own practices.

Who Receives Limited Data

Hosting and technical service providers may process server logs while they support the pages. Analytics or advertising partners may receive the automatic information described above. Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it. Outside those situations, the site does not share a visitor profile.

Keeping Data Safer

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and logs are retained only for the operational purposes above. There are no site accounts, passwords, or user profiles stored by Perris Residents Directory. No security measure can promise perfect protection, but the collection is kept narrow.

People Under 18

The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. Perris Residents Directory does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information to the contact mailbox, a parent or guardian may ask that it be removed.

Your California Choices

California’s California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) guidance, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), Civil Code section 1798.100 and following, gives qualifying consumers rights that can include access, correction, deletion, and limits on certain sales or sharing. California’s Safe at Home guidance describes a separate address-confidentiality program. Those rights apply to covered business data, not to the lawful county, city, court, or state records held by a public custodian. The California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7931.000, governs access to public agency records and does not give this site control over them.

Because Perris Residents Directory keeps very little, a request usually means searching the contact mailbox and available server records, then removing what can be located. Use the Contact page. Requests to change an ACR deed, court docket, voter file, or vital record must go to that office.

Policy Changes

When this policy changes, the revised text will be posted here. Continuing to use the reference after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
